We first heard about Main Attrakionz at The Village Bicycle late last year when all the A$AP Rocky, Tyler the Creator / Odd Future hype was surrounding us. They consist of ‘the best duo ever’ as they call themselves – Squadda B and MondreM.A.N barely 20 and come from North Carolina. They bring out fresh new mix-tapes regularly with as many as eight to date already – of all the mixtapes bearing Main Attrakionz’s name, the one to download first is 808s & Dark Grapes II, which has earned them attention in not just Pitchfork and Fader et al but the New York Times. All the mixtapes are free to download… so get downloading kids because it won’t be free for much longer.
